Group Meetings

"Men's" Bible Study - Six to ten men come together on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am around a table at Elmer's on Fairview for breakfast and the study of scripture. Please join us.

Bible Study Group - A small group meets for Bible Study sessions and Holy Eucharist every Wednesday from September through May at 1:30 pm in the Davis Common Room. The study usually runs until 2:45 or 3:00 pm.

Centering Prayer - Centering Prayer is a method of response to God's invitation to enter into loving intimacy and relationship. Centering Prayer prepares us to be open, available, and present to God's action and presence in the inner most recesses of our being. It facilitates a process of interior transformation initiated by God and leading, as we consent, to divine union. Centering Prayer prepares seekers for contemplative prayer which, as summed up by St. Gregory the Great, is "the knowledge of God impregnated with love". Centering Prayer facilitates both the deepening of our personal relationship with Christ; and release from the attachments that prevent development of this relationship, through contemplation and the unfolding of the theological virtues of faith, hope, and love. The fruits of Centering Prayer are naturally and gradually experienced in daily life with increased ability to cheerfully love and serve God and neighbor.

Come join us for Centering Prayer every Monday @ 5:45 pm in the Davis Common Room.
